Hundreds of food lovers descended upon the grounds of Fort York for the 1st annual Taste of Toronto Festival this past weekend. The event brought together celebrated chefs and restaurateurs across the city to showcase their finest dishes. Some of the notable masterminds included Mark McEwan of the McEwan Group of restaurants, Geoffrey Hopgood of Hopgood’s Foodliner, Carl Heinrich of Richmond Station and Cory Vitiello of The Harbord Room. In addition to the all the tastings, festival-goers had the opportunity to participate in live food demonstrations, interactive cooking classes, chef book signings and more.
